NAATI PD REQUIREMENTS FOR RECERTIFICATION STATEMENT


"Certification allows interpreters and translators to demonstrate that they are up-to-date and committed to the highest level of competency", says NAATI.

  Practitioners of translation and interpreting can achieve this by attaining CPD points through activities delivered by Language Experts Australia-wide such as modules/courses/workshops and webinars.
Attending Language Experts preparatory training for the purpose of obtaining a higher credential or gaining additional certifications eg. for multiple languages, is essential.

The popular Duties and Responsibilities in legal settings Course, is scheduled on Saturday, 28 March 2026. 


The highly regarded Law enforcement (Police) interpreter and translator course, is scheduled on Friday, 3 April 2026. 


The Ethics and Professionalism Course, an essential for all practitioners, which will be delivered on Saturday, 4 April 2026. 


The popular Medical Terminology for Interpreters and Translators is scheduled on Friday, 12 March 2026. 

The Legal and Court Interpreter and Translator Course, a one and only specialisation course in Australia is scheduled over two days starting on Friday, 13 March 2026. 

The highly recommended Translation Techniques Course will be delivered on Saturday, 21 March 2026 and again on Saturday, 16 May 2026. 


On Sunday, 22 March 2026 we will deliver the Chuchotage course or whispered simultaneous interpreting course. 

The National Health and Medical Interpreter and Translator Course is the one and only specialisation course in Australia and it is scheduled over two days starting on Friday,

27 March 2026. 


The Introduction to Health-Legal Interpreter and Translator Course is scheduled on Thursday, 2 April 2026. 


Language Experts exclusive course on the Linguistics for translators and interpreters’ course will be delivered on Saturday, 18 April 2026. 

Specifically for translators, Language Experts has specialisation courses which include
the English Vocabulary Building and Punctuation Course and the English Collocations and Articles Course can be scheduled on a mutually suitable date and time.   

In addition to the already mentioned courses, Language Experts continues to offer training in the fundamental skills necessary for all practitioners to remain current and competent in the form of modules or units of competence which you can attend during the working week.

If you are requiring pd points for recertification, please do not forget that all our courses carry 20 pd points each, while the modules are 10 pd points each.
